9th July 2026 – HPA UK Strengthen sector representation with election of new Governing Body Committee
Following the successful merger of the Heat Pump Association, Ground Source Heat Pump Association and Heat Pump Federation at the start of 2026, HPA UK have further bolstered their sector representation with the announcement of its newly elected Governing Body Committee.
HPA UK has set up a new Governing Body Committee to steer the Association’s strategy and direction. The Committee will shape the strategic direction, set management principles and support the development, review, budget allocation and oversee the delivery of the Association’s Workplan.
The Governing Body Committee reports to the Directors of the HPA UK and is constructed to allow full representation of the sector, with 3 co-opted spaces available and one space reserved for the elected HPA UK Installer Representative.
The establishment of this representative Governing Body Committee is a key step in ensuring effective checks and balances, reinforcing HPA UK’s role as a trusted and reputable trade association representing the interests of the heat pump sector. With one co-opted space remaining on the Committee, there is also scope to further strengthen representation.

The new committee members will serve for a mix of two-to-three-year terms to provide continuity and stability to the association; it’s work and messaging.
